Man Group is a global alternative investment management firm managing $228.7 billion and headquartered in London. This is a Technology Graduate Programme focused on Platform Engineering. About the Programme: The Technology Graduate Programme begins with a 3-month bootcamp in software development followed by the opportunity to explore three Platform Engineering teams over two years. This includes Python Platform, Infrastructure (Linux, Windows, Networks, Storage, Databases, Infosec), End-User, and Architecture and Operations. What You'll Learn: - Managing large internal data centres with tens of thousands of cores and hundreds of terabytes of memory, running Python at scale - Building and managing Man Group's infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud, using technologies such as Python, .Net, Linux, Windows Server, Databases and Storage Systems - Writing software to automate infrastructure and creating flexible self-service technology for thousands of users - Maintaining reliable systems while administering petabyte-scale storage and large GPU deployments - Operating and optimising global network interconnects within data centres - Working closely with business stakeholders in a dynamic environment Key Skills & Experience Required: - Experience with programming/scripting languages: C#, Java, Python, Powershell, or C++ - Technical experience from open source maintenance, 2+ years of industry experience, or recent Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics/Physics degree graduate - Understanding of source control and continuous deployment workflows (git) - Experience administrating operating systems (Linux, Windows, MacOS) and understanding of cloud technologies - Self-organised with ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Exceptional troubleshooting skills - Self-starter with desire to learn Programme Start Date: Throughout 2026 Application Process: 1.
